Trend forecasters WGSN have revealed that the pastel shade of green 'Neo Mint' will dominate the interior world in 2020.
WGSN explained that neo mint is "an oxygenating, fresh tone that aligns science and technology with nature". Following this trend Dulux announced yesterday that their colour for 2020 is 'Tranquil Dawn'. A cool-tone shade of green which is an antidote for the "increasingly disconnected modern society".
Dulux explained, "It reflects a growing desire to understand what it is to be human at a time when advances in technology are making us feel increasingly disconnected from each other".
We are always updating our furniture packages to meet the needs of the modern tenant and current trends. More recently including pieces that reduce stress and anxiety has been a key focus for Hatch. Work and home environments can have a significant impact on our state of mind, and we strive to make the home environment as peaceful as possible.
The Neo Mint Belize bed in the Richmond range is our most recent stress reducing piece we have introduced to our ranges. The Oldfield and Westwood packages include blue sofas; blue can calm your mind, lower blood pressure and reduce anxiety.
As we wave bye-bye to spiced honey, living coral and millennial pink, we wonder if the Pantone colour of the year 2020 will follow this gender neutral - stress busting tone?
