Creating a real point of difference in the highly competitive premium London apartment rental market was the challenge at Liberty House. A bright and appealing three-bedroom penthouse at Battersea Reach, this property needed the wow factor that would secure high-paying tenants and deliver a return quickly.
The Inko team was briefed to create something different that would get tenants excited but still be practical and durable for what is a rental property. The property owners chose Inko because we have worked together previously on other rental units and they have been very happy with our service. They knew they could rely on us to make the most of this jaw-dropping river-facing penthouse.
In a fast developing area like Battersea Reach potential tenants have plenty of rental options. Creating the wow factor is critical, and Inko’s approach was to combine the functionality required in rental furniture with statement pieces that make the apartment unique. A Tom Dixon pendant light – of the kind most commonly found in Heal’s – was just one example of how relatively low cost accessories were used to create a luxurious urban vibe.
The interior ensured that the apartment was rented quickly, securing revenue for the owner by reducing time on the market. It also played a significant role in attracting a higher paying tenant, with feedback from Martin & Co (the letting agent) saying prospective tenants joked that it was “too nice” for them. Critically the client praised the appearance of the apartment and the “amazing” Inko service.
